Combine that with his knowledge and experience in high-performance settings, he’s a must see for anyone looking to get their body fixed up, and those looking to perform in the best performance state. Ian Warner Sr. – S&C Coach
Ian Warner Sr. is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced strength and conditioning coach that I’m very excited and lucky to partner with. His experience in speed and power generation make him a sought after coach by athletes looking to get stronger, faster, and bring their performance to the next level. As a former S&C coach with the Canadian Sports Institute (CSI), and the father to 2 sons who ran and competed at every level culminating at the 2012 London Olympics, he is no stranger to creating an environment for growth and success. His clients and former clients include Olympic medalists, professional athletes in the NHL and CFL, and major developmental leagues such as the OHL, NCAA, CIS, and bobsleigh.
I started training with Ian in January of 2016 and the growth and improvements I experienced in the first couple months was all the proof I needed. I’ve trained with other S&C coaches before, but none of them matched the improvements that I saw with Ian in a short space of time. In the first 3 months, I gained about 8 mph in swing speed, going from 110 mph, to 118 mph, and having a much easier time in generating speed. My body has never moved better before, and I feel great. I’m looking forward to spending a full off-season with Ian and I highly recommend anyone looking to improve their physical abilities to give Ian a shout. Whether it’s improving some deficiencies (tightness, limited range of motion), to adding strength, or getting faster and quicker, he is the go to guy!
Strength and conditioning is an integral piece of the performance puzzle, and one that is often overlooked. Not only can it enhance performance, but it can also decrease the chances for injury, so that we can enjoy playing the sport we love for a longer period of time.
I can’t speak highly enough of Ian, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!
